Welcoming guests since 1988, Kayahan Hotel is a small, family-run boutique hotel in the heart of Kaş, on Turkey's Turquoise Coast in Antalya province. Tucked into a quiet side street, it sits only about 250–300 m — a 5–6 minute stroll — from the old bazaar, the seafront promenade and the town square, and makes a handy base for scuba diving, sea-kayaking over the sunken city of Kekova, walking the Lycian Way and day trips to the Greek island of Meis. We are open all four seasons and work on a bed & breakfast basis.
The heart of the hotel is our rooftop terrace, open to the Mediterranean and the Greek island of Meis (Kastellorizo): breakfast in the morning, and a calm place to take in the view through the day, right up to sunset. Around it: a 24-hour front desk, a lift, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a swimming pool in the courtyard.
And of course there is Ellez — our fluffy, wonderfully lazy hotel dog, and something of a mascot. Do not be surprised to meet him riding the lift; guests tend to fall for him.
For multi-room and group reservations made via WhatsApp — especially in spring and autumn — we offer attractive discounts. Breakfast is always included in the rate.

Alongside our sea-view rooms, we also have 'standard' rooms without a sea view, at more affordable rates — so when booking, do check which room type you are selecting. Bookings made through travel agencies are set automatically to a fixed room type. When you book directly with us on WhatsApp, we can be flexible with the room, find you a better rate, and — just as importantly — there is no agency commission. In short, for the best price and the right room, message us directly.
Please do not use your room towels at the pool or beach — we provide separate pool and beach towels at reception.
The beaches around Kaş are pebble; the nearest sandy beach is Patara. Entry to most beaches is free, while sunbeds, umbrellas and food & drink are charged. A few beaches work on a minimum-spend basis — you pay a set amount to use the beach, and it goes towards your food, drinks and sunbed. Distances and drive times below are approximate — tap a beach for live directions in Google Maps.
Every beach within driving distance can also be reached by taxi or by minibus (dolmuş).

A little-known cove just 500 m from the hotel — a 7-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away — where cold spring water rises to meet the sea. One of our own favourite quiet spots.

Entry to the Patara area is charged, and the beach itself is paid too. The sunset here is spectacular.
Patara — please note: Patara is a world-famous nesting ground for Caretta caretta sea turtles and the closest sandy beach to Kaş. It has currents, spots that drop off suddenly, and waves — it is not recommended for non-swimmers.

Reached only from the sea — a boat taxi runs from Kaş harbour, though departure and return times are not fixed. The coves here are private and charge for entry.

If you arrive early and your room is ready, you are welcome to settle in right away. If it is not quite ready yet, enjoy the view from our sea- and Meis-facing terrace, or cool off in the pool while you wait.
Need a later departure? We will keep your luggage safely at the lobby so you can enjoy your last day out and about.
To switch on the electricity in your room, insert your key card into the slot by the door — the power comes on. When you take the card out as you leave, the power goes off a short while later. So if the lights do not work, it usually just means the card is not in the slot.
If you would like your room cleaned, please hang the notice card on your door before you go out.
Changing rooms during your stay? Pack your luggage and leave it in the room after breakfast; our team will move it, and you can collect your new room card from reception.
We have a free outdoor parking lot for about 6–7 cars, under 24/7 camera surveillance. If the lot is full, we will guide you to another nearby parking area at check-in. Parking cannot be reserved in advance.
Kaş is a small, much-loved town, so parking is a challenge for the whole of Kaş — not just for us, especially at weekends. The nicest solution is to leave your car at the hotel for a day and rent a motorbike: the narrow streets, the hidden coves and the sunset spots all feel completely different on two wheels.
